f.lux (software to make your steemit life better)
Have you ever notice how people texting at night have that eerie cool blue glow?
Or wake up ready to type your best steemit post ever, Just to get blinded by your computer screen?
During these summer days, computer screens look good—they're designed to look like the wonderful sun we love. But, at 9PM, 10PM, or 3AM, you probably shouldn't be looking at the sun, Am I right?
f.lux fixes this: it makes the color of your computer's display adapt to the time of day, warm at night and like sunlight during the day, So you can type away with your hot steaming cup of steem Coffee, for your next great post at 3:00 Am.
It might even possible that you're staying up too late because of your computer making your brain think its still daylight and not let your body create Melatonin. You could use f.lux because it makes you sleep better, or you could just use it just because it makes your computer look better, why tryping away or even gaming but its better use is for steeming away!
This great program makes your computer screen look like the room you're in, all the time. After the sun sets, it makes your Screen look like your indoor lights. In the morning, it makes things look like sunlight again so as to not mess up your body chemicals, for a more productive day on steemit or if you have a regualr job...
It is simple to use Just tell f.lux what kind of lighting you have at the moment, and where you live, it will most lickyl do it automaticly though. Then forget about it. f.lux will do the rest, automatically, While letting you stay awake up all night and write that wonderful post.

That is pretty interesting. I have been on Steemit non stop so this could be useful!
This is a really nice program that I've been using on my computer for years now. It's great that you are sharing this with your followers that might not know about it :)
Thanks mate! I've used this function frequently on my phone but never considered to find an equivalent solution for the computer.
Hopefully I won't wake up to often at 3am with the urge to steem 😉, but working late in the evening it can definitely help to reduce the blue light to get a Better nights sleep.
Ey you welcome!

Thanks! I work nights online, so this might come in super handy. I am always trying to adjust the monitor...

Nice post! I am using redshift on debian9 xfce. It works fine. But flux gives us fine grained control with GUI.
