Hard work doesn't necessarily pay off

in #result2 years ago

I once watched an interview with Yang Lan when she started her business, and said that her biggest feeling is that hard work may not necessarily yield results.

The education I received since I was a child is that hard work will pay off, for example, as long as you study hard, your grades will improve, and you will get into a good university. This is indeed the case. Many people have been admitted to good universities through hard work. But learning should be the most likely thing to work hard to get results. For other things, as Yang Lan said, hard work does not necessarily lead to results.

At work, you work hard to find customers and make plans, and in the end, the customer may choose a product that is more expensive but has a relationship and background. You work overtime desperately and work hard, but when you get promoted and raise your salary, you lose to your colleagues who are sycophants every day.

In a relationship, you work hard to love, trust, tolerate, and forgive, but your friends or lovers may turn around and leave without hesitation, and they may not even give you a reason, but leave you with a feather.

In health management, you work hard to exercise, eat scientifically, and work and rest regularly, but one day your body explodes for no reason, while the people around you who smoke, drink, drink and stay up all night are in good health.

When educating your children, you read a lot of parenting books, were patient and meticulous, gave everything you could, and tried your best to raise an excellent child, but you couldn't compare to "other people's children".

Yes, many times hard work does not necessarily have results, but life still requires hard work, just to prevent yourself from having regrets, because there will be no results if you don’t work hard.
