Hi guys!

I have been in Steemit for a couple of months now and to be honest I was unaware of what to do. It was only two weeks ago when I realized what I was missing and what I did wrong.

First, I made my INTRODUCE YOURSELF post with the wrong tag. (Geesh! I was clueless so I just tagged it with what I thought was right.)

Then, I thought of Steemit is the same with Facebook where I can just post invites for the airdrops I was part of; and that I can just post whenever I want to.

Next, I got discouraged when nobody paid attention to what I posted (I guess I deserve that for being silly. I was unsure before and I still did not understand the beauty of the Steemit platform. 😔)

But one day, I saw one of my posts got upvoted!
Yippeee! I was so ecstatic. There were only few people who upvoted it but the happiness I felt was indescribable.

That changed everything.

I started to see Steemit in a very special way. Day by day I spend time watching videos and reading articles on how a minnow like me can grow into something big and better.

Steemians are among the few people who are willing to help others in any way they can, give knowledgeable critiques and suggestions (like the one I got from @jehovahwitness), tell you kind words of appreciation and admiration, post relevant, clever and well-thought of articles as consistently as possible, take time to reply to almost all the comments, and many more.

Who wouldn't want to be here?

I strongly believe that Steemit will grow stronger and better because of the good people who look after one another and who think of different ways to protect Steemit's welfare.

I hope it's not yet too late. Let me take this opportunity to introduce myself, again (and Ihope I do it right this time.)
