Diggin' for Gold
Along the west coast of the South Island, near the town of Greymouth, we found an isolated little campsite along the beach back a long lane and spent several days there enjoying some peace and quiet (there is nothing more soothing to go to sleep to than the sound of breaking waves). Near the campsite there was a farm with this old mining cart (I think that's what it is?) hung up on display. We met several people who are still employed in the gold mining industry in the area, guess they haven't run out yet! We didn't find any unfortunately.
