Graduation dinner for my nephew
Due to the poor weather, we had no rentals today. I was invited to my godson's, who is my sister's son, graduation dinner.
My mom was cooking so I knew I had to go. Also, I knew I wouldn't be able to go to the actual graduation and wanted to help congratulate him another way. I decided to design him a graduation cake.
The cake I created had a large graduation cap on top of a marble cake with cupcakes all around it. The cake had white frosting with red accents and letters saying "Congratulations Anthony Wishing you much success" on top of the cake. I asked my sons if they wanted to come and my oldest elected to stay because he doesn't like long car rides. So it was just me and my youngest son as we prepared for the drive. On the way, we picked up the cake and noticed we would have to assemble it before presenting it to him. It was about a 2 hour drive to south Florida where my sister lives. She has a knew house that I hadn't see yet and I was excited to look around. When we arrived, we were greeted by my sister and the smell of my mothers cooking. After saying hello to everyone, we were eager for the tour of the house. She can control many features of her home straight from her phone. She is able to open her door and change A/C settings with the touch of a finger. I'm happy I was able to have a day off to enjoy with my family and celebrate Anthony's graduation.
Congrats ❤❤❤ best wishes 🙂
Yuliana, the cake looks so good!
Congrats to your nephew! :)
@yuliana Well done on the Cake it looks yummy
What a lovely graduation cake! I'm sure that your nephew was surprised when he received the cake - especially since you spent so much time on it for him! Do you do other baking projects on a regular basis? Also, it's so nice to see family spending time together - especially for something such as a large milestone! Congratulations to your nephew!
Followed :)
