ColorChallenge: SundayPurple
This is Lagerströmia or Indian lilac. Although this plant grows in India, as well as in all other tropical countries, in fact, its homeland is China. And since I haven't been in these countries yet, I have made this photo in the Crimea, where I was more than once.

A beautiful flower, like as an rododendron! The flowers smell, like any lilac?
Unfortunately, I don't remember what smell it had. But in general, this plant belongs to another kind. So, it has a slightly different smell, probably. But no less pleasant.
Well, I'm sure the smell is very pleasant!
