Short Story: The Dance Practice
Heya, fellow steemians and otakus! It's me again, @yuki-nee for another [Short Story] titled, "The Dance Practice"!
Title: The Dance Practice
This is a side story of my Limerick Series: The Monster Ball.
In a certain cave, a pecular scene is unfolding. A big, hairy monsters was rampaging inside the cave, destroying everything on its path! No, wait it is not rampaging, it was...
*Roar! *
*Bang! *
*Crash! *
*Thud! *
*Ouch! *
Lester yells in pain. He had been practicing his dance moves all day long but ends up bumping his toes on a table leg. Jumping in pain, he "accidentally" demolished his furnitures. But all of a sudden...
*Cough! *
"What are you doing?" a gruffy voice asked.
Looking at the direction of the voice he saw a troll at the entrance of the cave.
"Moll!" Lester happily yell and run towards the troll.
Seeing a 10 foot hairy monster run towards him, Moll quickly step to the side.
*Bang! *
"Are you insane? Do you want to kill me?" said an annoy Moll.
Lester ignore his friend's annoyance and walk towards Moll while laughing.
"Sorry! Sorry! I was just a little excited" Lester apologized. "So what brings you here?" he asked.
"Can't I visit my friend?" Moll asked grumpily and then laughed.
He then passed a parchment to Lester.
"This is?" Lester asked.
Moll didn't answer and merely gestured that he open it. Lester nods and opened the letter. A surprised but happy expression appear on his face.
"You're hosting a dance ball? That's great!" Lester happily exclaimed.
"Will you attend?" Moll asked.
"Of course! I can finally show the result of my hardwork!" Lester answered.
Hours later, Moll exits the cave only to hear loud noises. Knowing that his friend is "practicing" his dance moves again, Moll left while shaking his head.
