Greetings from Barcelona!

Excuse me steemit! I've been doing this wrong since I didn't introduce myself, and I've been active in this platform for 3 days now. So here we go!

My name is Joan and as you may have guessed from the title, I'm from Barcelona, Spain. I'm totally in love with my city. It is fast paced and crazy, like every other big city out there, but you are 20 minutes away from the beach and at the same time, 20 minutes away from the mountain. Those are perfect places to take a step aside and just relax and chill. I usually go on a cruise with my skateboard to one of the beaches while listening to my jams. I actually took this picture while doing that, at this monument named Arc de Triomf (Triumphal Arch).  I post this other picture so you can see it properly.

What I really like about it is that, unlike other triumphal archs, it wasn't built like a military celebration, but as a main gate to the 1888 Barcelona Universal Exposition. To this day, it's still hosting cultural events like the Primavera Sound Festival, an electronic music festival.

I'm not really an electro head myself, though I enjoy it. I've been into hip-hop the last few years, only old school shit, early 90's to early 2000's. I could drop a list with all my liked artists but I'm just going to leave you a song of one of my favorites.

On the professional aspect, I'm starting my career as a front-end developer. I'm working as a freelancer in a little website and I will soon begin a part-time job in the industry as well. Things are starting to look good for me right now!
