Drawing the bird Golden-breasted Starling.

Good afternoon friends of this community of talents.

Today drawing a beautiful bird that I saw in a photograph and I wanted to show it to you.

In my pad and with the HB pencil I was shaping the silhouette of the bird and its characteristics,

seeking to give the proportion between its sides so that it would not be deformed. With great

precision I made its beak, eye and the volume of the side of that plumage that it shows.

I began to apply post-layer colors to give the resemblance of the plumage in the photograph; using

various shades of blue, various shades of yellow and with the 6B pencil I applied the shading to

darken the parts of the plumage that the light does not reach. The branch where the bird is

standing is colored gray and two shades of brown. With the blue marker I outlined his figure to give

more prominence to the drawing.
