You may delay, but time will not. – Benjamin Franklin
Often you will be faced with the task of making prompt decisions. An excellent example of this; could be at the start of a new business venture, when you do not have all the facts.

However, at times like these, it is very important for you to make prompt decisions, since this is when the consequences of your decisions are most far-reaching.
The refusal to not make a decision until you have enough information, is a wise one, but deciding to not act until you have all the information is unwise.
If you decide to only act when you have all the information, you run the risk of paralysing yourself and making any future success limited.
To have the highest success rate in life, you must make decisions promptly. This is due to the following fact; prompt decisions enable you to have more time, to make even more decisions, which in turn will speed up your success rate in life.
All throughout the day we make decisions. Sometimes we may even decide, not to decide upon something as yet. The decision of sometimes deciding promptly not to act. Is not necessarily a bad one, if you know what the motives are for those decisions.
If you decide not to make a decision because you are afraid of a mistake, you are making even a bigger mistake by failing to act. The failure to make a prompt decision is the failure to gain an opportunity, and to grow and improve your way of living.
The task of making a prompt decision will become easier, once you realise that mistakes are to be expected, but should not be feared, since they provide valuable lessons for the future.
To help get yourself inline with the decision making process, you should ask yourself some of the following questions:
What is my present situation, how can I make it better?
What must I do to have the lifestyle I want?
What options do I have, and what are the advantages and disadvantages of each?
What is the cost in time and energy for me to gain this lifestyle, and am I willing to pay the price?
Am I willing to change for the better?
Am I willing to make prompt decisions, and take responsibility for my actions?
Am I willing to design an action plan, work on it, monitor progress and make corrections when necessary?
When will I begin?
So remember the following; you should be bold when making decisions, sometimes even without all the information you may deem necessary.
Making prompt decisions even with minimal information will benefit you, since it will promote communication both with yourself and others, which in turn will help you to succeed in your plans for a better life.
