Monday Motivation: create your own happiness
Good morning my fellow steemians. If you're awake and read this post early in the morning (it's 7:25am on my side of the map) your already winning. Congratulations.
Create your own happiness! If you can think it, you can achieve it. If you want to lose weight and/or simply be more fit. Put aside your scale. Put a calculator down on a sheet of paper and type in your goal. Your ideal weight , you wish to accomplish.
Every morning you get up and check yourself on your calculator, it'll read your goal. You have to then put your part in, eat right and exercise. Let a few months go by, and bring out your actual scale. Your results will be shocking. Not stressing yourself out everyday by jumping on a real scale will help you focus more on the goal you're trying to accomplish. A happy mind is a healthy mind, which leads to a healthy body.
I was once weighing in around 325 pounds. At 6 feet 2 inches tall i looked like Fat Joe.
I ate nothing but tuna fish on wheat bread with light mayo, for two months, and went to the local playground everyday to workout. Dropped a little over 75 pounds in those 2 months and i haven't looked back since.
Set goals and use your mind to achieve them. Your mind is your most powerful tool.

Eat right, that bike ride is going to burn a lot of calories. So you want to stack on protien to feed your muscles. Drink a lot of water to stay hydrated.

Yeah, I'm going to have to eat a lot of protein on the bike ride, was thinking of drinking protein drinks on the ride, high in calories and protein. I'll need the calories on the bike ride haha

Really speaks to how committing to change your diet for a short period of time can jump start weight loss...working out on top of that will get results in no time...
