INTRODUCTION

I wish to add to my done achievements, the second edition of task five in this community which is based on reviewing steemscan.com

Question 1

Please explain the current Steem price and volumes on date of submission of this review?

As of the writing of this post upon visiting of the "steemscan" page, the present value of steem is $0.41/steem.

It is seen displayed at the top of the page. The current supply is 397,960,272 STEEM and 10,343,427 SBD.
Comparing this to that of previous months, this is a downtrend as there has been a decrease.

Question 2

Please explain What all information is shown under latest transactions and latest blocks section?

When the page is opened, instantly the "Latest Transactions" tab is seen. The user can find beside the "Type" bar a list of all the functions done under this.
These functions include being able to;

• transfer
• comment
• delete comments
• create accounts
• update accounts
• vote
  amongst a plethora of others.

If we wish to find the latest transactions found under "delegate" for example, we can manoeuver under to votes and click on it as shown.

In the same way, just beside the "latest transactions" is found "latest blocks"

Please explain What all information is shown under Witnesses section and steps to vote a Witness?

As portrayed, we click on menu tap and go to "witnesses" to see a witness. Various witnesses are shown and we can decide to vote on any of our choice.

Please explain What is DApps and mention 3 DApps which you have already used or may use in future as per your interest?

Beginning with the meaning of this acronym, it stands for Decentralize Applications, in effect, these are just computer applications that run on the decentralize peer-to-peer network.

Question 5

Please explain How to use "Quick Convert" and what is the fee charged for different Steem amount for withdrawals

The "Quick Convert" tool is used to change steem from steemit to usdt, tron or bitcoin and also to withdraw.
The charges for these conversions to bitcoin and/or usdt are usually relatively higher and fixed but of course that of trx is cheaper.

The screenshots below indicate vividly the various charges on different amounts of steem that is to be converted to either btc, usdt or trx.

Question 6

Please explain what information is provided by the "Search" feature?

Still under the "Menu" tap can be found the "Search" tool. Here, we have basically 3 things that can be searched under the search type namely;

• Transactions
• Block
• Account
  as shown below.

These types can then be toggled to and fro and different information gotten.
