I made a trippy painting - Environment
This painting was experimental. I started the image off with a scanned image of ink splatters. Then in photoshop, I warped the shapes and kept working with it until I got a happy accident. I wish I could show you images of the process but unfortunately I didn't document it. Anyhow, I had nothing planned going into this painting. First thing that came to mind was that that the ink splatters looked like floating rocks in the sky. So I went with that and decided to add rocky mountains in the environment. Finally I wanted to give the image some story and visual interest, so I decided to include a man with telekinesis powers, hence why the rocks are floating.
