BITCOIN or BITCOIN CASH... Which is better... Come find out ;)

in #bitcoin7 years ago

On August 1, the digital currency is divided into two exchanges, Bitcoin Classic (BTC) and Bitcoin Cash (BCH). Blockstream chief strategy officer Samson Mow opened on August 7, and did not become a "hurry to break up", but the break was long time coming.

The origins of the debate can be traced back to 2010, when a megabyte every 10-minute limit was quietly added to the Bitcoin Code Library as a spam control measure. Because the value of a bitcoin was so low at the time, the price of each penny was to prevent an unnecessary attacker from overloading the network with a lot of cheap deals.

This simple variable gradually leads to the emergence of two competing factions in the Bitcoin industry. On the one hand, hoping to raise the quota, so that Bitcoin grows as the demand grows, while the other claims that allowing Bitcoin to grow too quickly will lead to centralization and shift to corporate control.

With the popularity of Bitcoin networks, this megabyte limit was pushed up at the end of 2016, but increased through organic networks rather than a large number of malicious transactions. The result is that Bitcoin finds that it cannot absorb more demand: each transaction is now sacrificing another transaction, and the cost of the auction will raise the average transaction cost from the average transaction cost in June 2011 to more than $5.

Many people worry that such high fees will hinder the growing use and use of Bitcoin, depriving most of the world's actual Bitcoin users, leaving only price speculators and willing to pay high fees to handle Bitcoin.

After years of effort, supporters of Bitcoin Cash decided not to try to turn Bitcoins into their wishes, but simply to create a split of the ledger and let the market decide. Bitcoin Classic stores keep a megabyte limit and traditional stock code BTC, while Bitcoin's cash chain has increased the limit to 8 megabytes and uses the new stock code BCH (or BCC, depending on who are asking).

Any person who holds Bitcoin Classic at the time of split on August 1 receives the same amount of new coins at the time of the split. If you have a bitcoins at the end of July, you will now have a BTC and a BCH in August. Instead of causing uneasiness in the market, split the realization of the ideal outcome of the two visions of the bid to compete in the free market.

Many people decide to sell one side to buy more of the other side, but more conservative holders can benefit from holding and avoiding speculation. There is no benefit in preventing any of the two ideologically divided camps from pursuing their horizons: both camps are stuck in the currency versions they think are not ideal. The split makes each coin develop and grow in the way that its supporters think it is the best.

The market seems to agree. The price of the two markers is now greater than the price of a Bitcoin currency before the division. In the long run, expect to see market demand aggregated in the vicinity of one of the two coins. Bitcoin has always been a free market - probably the best coin to in the end!

Please leave a comment and resteem especially if this has affected you as well, and remember to resteem if you have a following that has a stake in Bitcoin. I would love to hear more perspectives and stories on this.

To me original bitcoin is perfect, base on the cryptocurreny...
as for me I believe that the division is better for the crypto world to excel....

Like your post. Thank you for the information

I would keep buying the original bitcoin which I think will rise more than bitcoin cash. I don't even know why they called it bitcoin cash, they are soiling the name of bitcoin and creating confusion. They should have called it hardfork coin or something else just to make the distinction clearer.

I think you are right in that they are trying to piggy back on the bitcoin name and creating more bad than good.

May I have a favour of a resteem to get this out there a little more? Much appreciated :)

lol, is that a question o statement?

lol, i guess a statement since i'm hodling both. consider bch a free insurance policy.

And a great way to go ;) May I have a resteem favour? That would be awesome :)
