Yoga time!

Yoga is something that has become very popular in the last years, but it really is an age-old practice. Unfortunately there are many false beliefs about yoga, and that has brought with it: its bad practice. Like everything that becomes "fashionable", it usually becomes something that loses a little of its virtues, not because it is something that many people today want to practice, but because they want to practice without a real internal reason and just because everybody do it.

Yoga is not about postures and physical exercises only, it is about connecting the mind and concentrating on each position that the body is performing, because this has a specific action that creates a mental and physical benefit.

Yoga has nothing to do with religions, believing or not believing in deities, or any of those new things that have sold us. It is about connecting body and mind, this is it, connecting with ourselves, and not just repeating that phrase, but understanding it.

I want to share with you photos of mine doing some postures, with their common names and their original names, just as an example, reminding you that practicing Yoga does not have anything to do with the "nice" that gives us a posture at first, this is given over time. When we open the mind to work the body, the body follows it alone...
