Blessing Volunteering Work

Merit is vital of importance of our myanmar people lives.
As buddhists,we ought to seek for merit by justing doing good deeds:for instance,alms food giving,building or repairing roads or wells,making volunteering for society and religious.
If you make the good deeds , you will surely get merits
And it can also ascend the ladder of existence.
Now I would like to mention about my weekly volunteering work to get merit .
When I finished the matriculation examination, I have spare times.
But I devote my time mostly to study English for my life.I join Computer School, Eng language school so on and so forth.
But every friday was my holiday (I didn't join any university at that time).
That's why I make a desicion to do the good deeds on Fridays.
One of my friend ,Win Min Aung who is very pious boy of 17.
And also he always goes to Shwe dagon pagoda every Friday without fail .
I really wanna know why he always goes on Fridays.
Finally I appreciate my friend of volunteering.
I really bless and wanna participate with him.
No need to register;my fri said.
Just a volunteer! From that time,I go to Shwedagon pagoda on Fridays with my friend.
As soon as I reached there, I really suprised of many volunteer gathering at the platform of pagoda.
At 6pm of evening ,We start to do good deeds .
I don't mention what kind of volunteering work till now.
It is not big work.
Water donation! There were 20 nearly members to donate water.

We boys are to refill the fresh water into the dirnking water pots(water-cooler) around the pagoda.
And girls are to wash the cups and water-coolers with the sponge by using detergent liquids.
At nearlly 8 pm,we all complete and perfom well.

Then we all gather and take group photos with magnificient pagoda.
After that,one of our donors treats us to some snacks.
We have chats having the snacks.
But some times later,our chat comes to an end,
We all say goodbye for depart.
At that time ,I feel peaceful and pleasant.

I am also proud of being aBuddhist and making such kind of good deed.
It was one of my auspicious times and unforgettable memories of my life.
