The emblem of the city Lviv

Official description of the emblem of Lviv in the Statute of the city: "a blue shield depicts a golden gate with three towers, each of which is completed by three teeth and has one loophole. The central tower is higher than the other two. The gate is open, without gates and lattice. In the opening of the gate steps into the right heraldic side of the golden lion". It is the emblem of Lviv depicted on the shield of the main lion of our city, which is located in front of the entrance to the city hall.

Офіційний опис герба Львова в Статуті міста: "у синьому щиті зображена золота брама з трьома вежами, кожна з яких завершена трьома зубцями і має по одній бійниці. Центральна вежа вища від двох інших. Брама відкрита, без воріт і грат. В отворі брами крокує у правий геральдичний бік золотий лев".  Саме герб Львова зображений на щиті головного лева нашого міста, який розташований перед входом до міської ратуші.
