My visit to the Ukraine-Denmark football match

Honestly, I'm not a passionate football fan, although there was a time when I watched all the matches of the national football team and Ukrainian clubs internationally. However, my two brother-in-law (my wife's brother and my sister's husband) are passionately interested in football. Until last evening, we had never been to a football match together at the Lviv Arena. I had the chance to go with them to a national football team match in the summer, but at that time I went to sea with my family. Now the national team of Ukraine under the leadership of Andriy Shevchenko has already secured an exit to the final of the European Championship - 2020. However, things are much worse in the youth football team (U-21), game of which we visited yesterday. Before the game, we were fourth in the group, and after the game the position of the youth did not improve. Our boys lost by 2-3, and we managed to play two goals after the scoreboard was 0-3. And only a little was not enough before the match ended in a draw.	Чесно кажучи, я не є палким футбольним вболівальником, хоча був час, коли я переглядав усі матчі національної збірної з футболу та українських клубів на міжнародному рівні. Проте так склалося, що моїх два швагри (брат моєї дружини та чоловік моєї сестри) пристрастно цікавляться футболом. До вчорашнього вечора ми ніколи ще разом не були на футбольному матчі на Арені Львів. Я мав шанс піти з ними на матч національної футбольної збірної ще влітку, але я тоді поїхав на море разом із сім'єю. Зараз збірна України під керівництвом Андрія Шевченка вже забезпечила собі вихід до фінальної частини чемпіонату Європи - 2020. Проте набагато гірші справи у молодіжної футбольної збірної (U-21), матч якої ми вчора відвідували. До гри ми займали четверте місце у групі, а після гри ставище молодіжки не покращилося. Наші хлопці програли з рахунком 2-3, причому нам вдалося відіграти два м'ячі після того, як на табло світилося 0-3. І лише трішки бракувало до того, щоб матч завершився внічию.

Чесно кажучи, я не є палким футбольним вболівальником, хоча був час, коли я переглядав усі матчі національної збірної з футболу та українських клубів на міжнародному рівні. Проте так склалося, що моїх два швагри (брат моєї дружини та чоловік моєї сестри) пристрастно цікавляться футболом. До вчорашнього вечора ми ніколи ще разом не були на футбольному матчі на Арені Львів. Arena Lviv ranks 4th in Ukraine for number of seats (34,915). Yesterday at the match was half of that maximum number, over 17,000 people. За кількістю місць для глядачів «Арена Львів» посідає 4-е місце в Україні (34 915). Вчора на матчі була половина із цієї максимальної кількості, понад 17 000.

Nice stadium though... Football success comes in waves... you have to have the deep downs to crawl back up better... Look at Belgium, 10 years ago we were in 70th place on the FIFA ranking, didn’t qualify for 4 big tournaments in a row, now we are first on the ranking and won 3rd place on the World Cup in Russia... !trdo
