The Basics of a Computer
A computer is an electronic system that can be found in almost every home and offices, but computers have different classifications as they vary in shapes and sizes.
Computers can be classified in different ways, they can be classified in sizes, types, according to purpose and as well as a matter of generation classification.
However, the classification of computers can be done in three ways, this means that computers are basically of three types.
They are; analog computer, digital computer and hybrid computer.
Computers are usually mistaken by most people to be laptops and systems, but computers are usually beyond what we just use to type, they include our everyday machinery and items.
Analog computers are those computers that are basically used for weighing and measuring. Analog computers are mostly used for commercial and business purposes, the information needed by the computer are usually imputed into the computer in form of signals, pulses, and currents and so on.
These analog computers have some examples that are found around us, some of the examples are; analog wristwatch, scale machine, blood pressure machine, scale machine, speedometer.
