How Do You Spend The Money When It Comes?

in #money7 years ago (edited)

I want to be big, I want to succeed, I want to become great, I want to achieve the achievable and because of all this things we work hard and try new things, we try to pursue greatness but one thing that is really saddening is that we do not know how to manage the money when it comes.

It is a normal human nature that when we begin to get more income, our standard of life increases as we want to look our income, we want to get new clothes, shoes, bags and even cars and houses if possible. One mistake we make is that we spend the little we have on luxury and then we have nothing to invest.

It has been observed that when eventually people get this money that they are looking for, investment gets off their minds and all they want to do is to spend it the way it comes on their looks and other things that will make them look expensive.

After a while, they realize that all they have acquired are things that they have to continually spend on, so the more they get the more they spend. Imagine that someone did a contract and made 10 million naira, he had to celebrate with the boys so they went to the club and spent 2 million naira on celebration, he bought a car of about 7million naira and all he has left is 1million naira, he still lives in a rented apartment so the land lord comes to ask for his payment of 200,000 and all he has left is 800,000 just within a period of one week.

A month later, he had finished spending the 800,000 and he had nothing left, the little money that he got from small job was what he used to fuel and repair the car he bought whenever it has faults. He then begins to blame himself for being foolish but then the deed has already been done and all he has left is regrets.

What about you my friend who is wishing right now to make a huge amount of money, when you get opportune by nature to get the money, how well will you spend it?
