A Struggle To Save The Future (Part 5)
I could never forget Pa Ibeh said bitterly. And how many times he refused to harvest his crops for me. Rather, Kenneth and his wife enjoyed all the goodies. They were selfish people and I will not stand by and watch you help them.
Papa, the same Pa kenneth paid for my final exams some years ago. He had an obligation to do that.
Emeka stared at his father amazingly. But he had made up his mind to help Amaka and her children. He would wait until Jason completed his secondary school education before coming back for him. And he was going to give Amaka some money to start a petty trade and as well keep the children in school.
Amaka found no help coming after sometime, so she had no choice than to send her son to the city to become an house boy just like her friend had promised some time back.
Jason's boss found out that the boy was hardworking and humble, so she thought he was different from the city boys. Since Jason became her help, there had not been any record of stolen money or missing item. This made her want to keep her promise to the boy.
Tom, madam Berwin's first son found Jason under the staircase where he hid himself crying that afternoon. Tom was surprised to see Jason like this. He went to find his mother and returned with her.

Nice
