Experience the Freezing and Hidden Wonder of Binombohan Falls

Have you ever felt so much stress and you thought of escaping reality even just for a short while?

Then you suddenly thought of travelling but you're already tired of going to common places that are congested with many people.

You want to be refreshed, stress-free but you have a limited budget?

Well, why not try to explore the natural beauty of Binombohan Falls?

Binombohan Falls is located at Brgy. Caraycaray, San Miguel, Leyte, Philippines. It is one of the beautiful wonders and pride of my hometown. It has a really freezing and a very clear water.

How to Reach Binombohan:

*From Tacloban City, you need to travel a 45-km ride on a jeepney to reach San Miguel town proper. Fare is forty pesos (P 40.00) only.

*From the town proper, you need to ride a single motorcycle to reach Brgy. Caraycaray, San Miguel, Leyte. It is 6.5 kilometers away from the town and the fare is twenty-five pesos (P25.00) only.

*Then, you need to hike for more or less two hours to reach your destination. You will experince a fun hiking adventure since you will walk past through the Department of Agriculture sub-office on top of a hill. Many sheeps are being herd and breeded there.

You can see the overlooking natural beauty on top of the hills that you will be climbing.

Yes, it may be a little bit tiring going there but the feeling of tiredness will soon be washed away when you reach Binombohan falls.

There is no entrance fee. It is definitely FREE. That is what we love most. lol.

There are no cottages so you will be eating, sitting and drinking on the rocks. It is not yet developed. So, you can really appreciate its natural beauty.

The water is very cold. The spot where water is falling is also so deep which makes it very hard to reach the floor. No one has ever set their feet yet even as of today. So, if you you are not a good swimmer like me, you better bring a life vest with you.

Fill your life with adventures, not things.
Have stories to tell, not stuffs to show.

It is always good to go out and enjoy the beauty of nature with the persons you love. You can relieve your stress and worries by having a fun adventure. Do not be afraid to explore. Push your limits to experience new things in life.
