Nigerian Culture : Things you've never heard about Benue State

Today I'm going to be writing about the native tribes in Benue State, Nigeria. Benue State is located in the middle belt in Nigeria. It is famous for is abundant vegetation. Some people say that whatever you plant on the land will grow. This is attributed to the humidity in this area which has various water bodies around and high temperatures that make growth of plants suitable. Benue State is an amazing place. The weather is very hot all through the year but unlike the north the suns effect is not as harsh due to the humidity.
Benue State is occupied by two major tribes which are the Idoma People and the Tiv people. The minority tribes occupy barely 5 percent of the population of Nigeria but the land is in an important position as it connects the northern and southern Nigeria. The natives are friendly and welcoming and the land is rich in a variety of delicacies that cannot be found any where else on the planet. For example the Okoho soup is a famous soup on this area and is made from a certain plants stem more common in these areas.
Benue State is a land rich in resources that have not been utilized due to improper governance but with time change could make it a true centre of tourist attraction.
