About the song

The first time I heard this song was during a music competition on TV, the melody was sweet the powerful words and meaning got to me. Unlike many men from other countries in Nigeria, our men are really working their status of being the head of the family.

They do a lot especially financially, it is not just because they want to, Bit has become a must do because they are men and it is what men must do.

They try to act all strong and manly,
It has made them hide the stress and worries that disturbs them inside.
They bottle up their emotions and smile when they actually feel like crying.

He said man is living like an animal
When a problem goes, life comes with another one"
That one we all can definitely relate to, in our lives generally a problem comes where we try our best to get it sorted out.
It is sorted, but the next day can come with yet another problem.

Life is full of never ending problems
That we must live with.
Now you can Enjoy!!!

"(Verse 1)
So many things wey dey bother man stress from friends and family and brotherman
Man living like an animal
When a problem goes
Life comes with another one

But I'm a god, I'm a stronger man
I be different breed, my kind no be normal one
I'm not trynna be the number one
So many legends dey
I'm just trynna be another one

(Bridge)
But sometimes
E dey be like say I wan manya
All the pressure and the wahala
E dey be like say I don tire
Sometimes
E dey be like say I wan manya
All the pressure and the wahala

(Chorus)
I just wanna be alone
I don't wanna see no message on my phone
Nothing dey do me you should know
I just feel like I should do this on my own
I just wanna be alone

(Verse 2)
If no be love, na money palava
If no be stress, na woman and drama
Competition people dey para
Too much beef when I no be mallam

Na God dey do am, no be my power
Grace na koko, the talent na jara
So I lock myself inside my yara go down on my knees, and I call on baba

(Bridge)
But sometimes
E dey be like say I wan manya
All the pressure and the wahala
E dey be like say I don tire
Sometimes
E dey be like say wan manya
All the pressure and the wahala

(Chorus)
I just wanna be alone
I don't wanna see no message on my phone
Nothing dey do me, you should know
I just feel like I should do this on my own
I just wanna be alone
I don't wanna see no message on my phone
Nothing dey do me, you should know
I just feel like I should do this on my own, I just wanna be alone."

Dear @yaladeeds, the modern world, with its relentless pace, challenges us to remember the essence of life: to truly live. Your message awakens in me the awareness of how crucial it is to stop and appreciate the simple moments. In this system that incites us to always do more, quickly, we risk losing touch with the beauty of existence.

I’m not familiar with Fireboy’s “Airplane Mode,” but I’ll listen to it tomorrow on my way to work. Goodnight.🤗

Good night my friend, do listen and tell me what you think. This will be my little way to introduce you all to the songs I love as music brings me more peace.

wow! sounds good. Thank you!

Welcome my friend

You sound convinced that a man must be the head of the family. I wonder... There are so many tough and successful women here that I read about: Education, studies, own business... Plus family management, caring, etc. And yet in every case a man would be the boss in the house?

If someone were to recommend it to me like that...: I'll be very clear and point out the shortest route to the exit!

Actually, it's a more cultural difference. In some cultures women don't work and have no careers, they take care of the house and family.

Only men work and earn and boss around. And there is no harm in that if both parties are giving and receiving their rights.

In some cultures women also work like men, they earn jusy like men, so here you can say that he will not be my head. Becuase i earn too like you, what's the difference?

You see it? Mutual rights if both earn. Or head will be the one who earns.

In our culture, men are bound to earn and take care of the needs of her wife and family. If anyone does against it, he loses his worth.

And same goes for women, she must has to take care of her family first.

Of course, I'm aware of that. It was no different in Europe until a few decades ago. The question is: does there necessarily have to be one right way? Is it not rather a question of personal choice, of one's own life plans? Shouldn't everyone be able to make this decision for themselves and therefore with their partner...?

I find it difficult - in both directions - if a social consensus is to be reached where individual priorities are concerned.

Personally i believe one should have given the right to get some things sorted in their own way regardless of who the head is like in:

  • Education
  • marriage
  • career
  • making friends and the list goes on.

Being the head isn't just financial, as equal as we are men are men. His muscles are to protect me, my muscles can only lift little. Financially many women are doing well and some even better. It is just the African way for men to be able to provide for the family, while the women support.

Life is full of never-ending problems

This reminds me of a song called Problem No dey finish make we try the enjoy. Life is full of ups and downs and when you think you have finished solving your problem, today, tomorrow another problem will come up again. It is why a Wiseman would always say our life isn't a bed of roses and thorns. Thank you for the invite.

Yes o, i know that song. We must try to find enjoyment despite what the life brings.

If you ask me humankind wears a mask from the day they saw daylight. With you men still smile with us, including many other countries, they lost their smile a long time ago and in some nations they might have never felt joy.

I find it hard to tell if smiling helps if you feel like crying and die inside. To some it might work wonder wel but I am not one of those people (my family either). We aren't crybabies, no drama queens or kings, thinkers, introverts and deal with shyness and trust but we made a deal to support each other to give that hug and a pat on the shoulder.

I don't think men have a tougher life than women they are allowed to play and fool around longer than girls/women are allowed.

The weight on their shoulders is not because they are male, are the (only) breadwinner but because they never learned to team-up with their partner. The average rather dominates and believes it's what makes him a real man than taking into consideration who's the one with the best skills to get a job done.

This posts of yours sounds like a great entry for Dream Steems keyword of the week.

It's interesting how a song can say the words we don't dare to speak out loud. If not sang or spoken a letter can help too.

You have a lot of wisdom to share too, know I love reading you.
I hope you had a good day.
🍀❤️

The weight on their shoulders is not because they are male, are the (only) breadwinner but because they never learned to team-up with their partner.

You have spoken my mind, only if men keep their egos aside and talk to her wife like a friend, things would have been different and light weighted.

Their weight is heavy because they refuse to share, too much egos around like a cheap chanel bag.
@ibesso say something, i am only writing her words in another way, say something

The song you adore inspired me to reflect on the importance of human connections and how they enrich our lives by providing support and understanding.

This idea of mutual completion doesn't imply that we are incomplete on our own but rather that our existence becomes richer when shared with others.

In a world that sometimes isolates us, the song reminds us of the beauty of unity, highlighting how, through mutual support, life gains deeper meaning.

Sharing joys and challenges makes the journey of life a fuller and more satisfying experience.Remember: going through life alongside someone, in any form of meaningful connection, makes the journey unforgettable.

A big hug.🌈🤗

I saw it finally, @Ibesso is someone I love to tease, since he is good friends with my friend. So now, he is a brother, if 8 don't stress him, who will 😁

He already has a lot of stress next to answering his notifications. He helps me packing. 💕🍀

Let's hope they do so.

Dear friends, @yaladeeds & @wakeupkitty the most beautiful thing about friendship is being able to tease each other a bit. Forgive me if I am not always quick to respond, and I appreciate you urging me to do so because it means you are thinking of me, and that makes me happy. A hug and have a good day.
