Running away, onto something new
Light comes up; missions issued
Onto the ending, a war continued

Left full of aspiration
But in a cloud of deception
Within this moment’s despair

Adoring the fading of these dreams
Eternally sinking into streams
Of nightmares you made cease
So sleepless life becomes my release

Wandering in the darkest shadows
Is your voice in my heart
Lost in despair forever

All promises now broken
Love and care forsaken
Onto what’s absolute
