A big Ass Tree (A Poem)

The world we live in
Is a hell of a thing
they gave us the chance
To dance and to sing
To perform like clowns,
For the sake of the crowd
To shout and holla
But just not too loud
Wouldn't want you
Spreading any truths
Or going as far
As to educate youths
About what life should be
If we understood our roots
See
Trees grow and bear beautifully
But what we never see
Is what lies beneath
It's strong underneath
It's sustenance and support
The dirty foundations
And unheard retorts
As it pushes ever upward
To the sunlit resort
No, all we know
Are the beautiful fruits
And the flowers and leaves
Dancing in the breeze
Too bad for us though
Because life is like this
The ones that have built it
Will never be missed
The backs that are stood on
Forever go on
But just like the dirt
They'll forever be scorned.
