“Steemit Engagement Challenge, S9w3: What is a woman?”

Based on my understanding of the above word, A woman is a well-grown-up female being created by God with numerous endearment like beauty, intelligence, strong, hardworking, and more. Also, a woman is someone who has reached her adolescent stage and at this time is ready to marry her missing ribs.

But the most important thing that makes a woman is their ability to conceive and bear children, the sense of motherhood and parenting, a woman is special in every man's life and to the world at large.

A woman is a mother who can stand out for her family and also support her children when she is married, they were created uniquely by the Creator in other to support men. Various women will always support their families and always make sure that their kids are being trained in the way of the Lord.

Oooh no, that was the mentality of people back then, but the truth is that women were not just born only to be a housewife because they have so much potential in them that can help both societies at large.

Even though in my country some women are restricted in some parts of the political position but most of them have fought for their rights and are indeed doing well in their various positions. Women are very strong and they don't joke with their family even if they are in a big position. Their duties as wives have never stopped them from archiving what they want and when they are willing to work for the society they do it with everything they have.

Any man who limits the responsibility of a woman to just being a house is making a big mistake, is just like buying a billion naira Gadget and don't know how to use it, the potential of many women is in the ability of their partner to discover it and help it grow. It is an error to think women are limited to just being a housewife.

The role of a woman in our today's society can not be overemphasis because they are everywhere and they are capable of doing everything. I will at least just a few among others.

• A daughter to her parents who never look down on her roots even if she is married. She always makes sure that her parent is doing well and if it's meant for her to bring her parent to her home just to take care of them during their old age she will gladly do that because of the soft and kind heart she has.
• A Wife to her husband who never stopped performing her duties like, cooking, house chores, and others even if she is working in the ministry, she always knows how to take up her responsible at all times.
• A mother to her children who never sleeps when her children can't sleep at night. A mother who always makes sure that she provides for her children at all costs, and also makes sure she trains them to be better people in society.
• A leader in society who diligently render her services in other to ensure the society is in a good place. My society doesn't support gender inequality, so women have the full right to be involved in every aspect including Politics, Social, and even religious activities. No law makes it compulsory that a woman must marry, so marriage is a choice, not a law, so women have the right to their personal decision to be a wife or not.

The most important woman in my life is my mother, She did not just give birth to me but she always make sure that I have a good life even when my father died, she never stopped struggling just to make sure that I eat good food just like other kids.

She is my first love and my first teacher who thought me how to be strong and always do the right thing at the right time. My mum is the best and the most important person in my life without her there is no me, she is the only person I have left so I don't joke with her.

Sometimes when I recall the pains and the hardship my mum went through when my father left us, she never stopped struggling even when we were left with nothing. She never gave up but she stood her ground just to make sure we are good. My mum make sure that she trained me to be a good person in life.

In conclusion, women are strong and they are capable of doing numerous things but The truth is that a lot of women are afraid of getting married because they will be answerable to a man who will in turn limit their dreams and visions, this is not only applicable in Nigeria but to the world at large. Successful women don't want to be controlled by anyone. The fear of many women is getting the wrong partner.
