Horse Festival in my village
During the war against the French occupation. My ancestors were fighting the French occupation by using horses and relying on strength and speed and the fear resulting from a large group of horses...
Every year in October we return the same scene. Not for war, but for the enjoyment and teaching the children the history and the keeping the ancient traditions...
I wanted to share with you some photos of the year 2017 festival.
Mosaab enjoys watching horses.
Every tribe must wear the same garb
Starting at the same time

Wonderful. It's important to keep our cultural ancient traditions alive for the younger generations to learn and to appreciate their root. Beautiful garb for both horse and man. It looks like Mosaab had a great time. Thank you for sharing!
Beautiful cultural traits you just shared My Friend and it really fascinates me. That young Mosaab is looking so cute and pretty, he is very brave though <3
Stay Blessed, Steem On!

That's really interesting. I love all the pictures. It looks like a beautiful place and all the events must be fascinating to watch.
My village is very small... But at the time of the festival everyone comes in order to watch the horses... And the food is free... Villagers given food for all... Someday you'll come with your wonderful husband.
I love experiencing different cultures. Beautiful pictures captured your tradition so well I almost felt like i was there. Thank you.
By speaking your language, practicing your customs, performing ceremonies and walking the land, you're working on protecting your family, clan and tribes from colonization. Keep up the great work.
thank you my brother @wwf
