今日は眼科へ行きました。
バスで眼科へ行く途中、四条烏丸周辺では祇園祭の鉾建てが始まっていました。
写真は鉾建ての最中の菊水鉾(上)と函谷鉾(下)です。

今日は雨だったせいか、眼科の患者さんは少なく、ほとんど待たずに検査と診察を終えました。今朝起きた時は別の日にしようかと迷いましたが、雨の日は涼しいからと思って出かけました。思った通りでした。

今年の祇園祭は3年ぶりに山鉾巡行を含めたフルコースでやるそうです。でも、私は今日の鉾建てを見て満足です。
