Frost Giant - OSRIC Art

I do very much enjoy Norse myth. Here we have a piece that I did many moons back (11 years!) for the Old School Reference Index and Compilation (OSRIC) v 2. OSRIC is a very interesting artefact in that it pretty much is the cornerstone for all of the old school gaming revival products that came after. It used the Open Gaming License to reimagine the rule set for the 1st edition Advanced Dungeons and Dragons game. Originally intended to be simply a vehicle with which to publish new game content for the older systems without geting into legal/copyright issues, it soon became evident that there were lots of gamers clamouring for a re-release of the older game rules as a playable system. Hence OSRIC 2.0 was born. It recreated the player's handbook/dungeon master's guide/monster manual all in one book. It is available for free online: http://www.knights-n-knaves.com/osric/.
