My First @ulog #1 Entry - The True Queen - My Mamang Mausi

We are all thankful for having great mothers who have raised us up and had never left us through thick and thin. I must say being a mother is a career every woman takes with braveness and a whole lot of patience. I say braveness as I know, I had witnessed how my sis gave birth and raises her kids as a single-parent. Patience as we all know is a virtue every mom should have. But apart from these, the best part of it is their unconditional love.

My mom is the best when it comes to everything. She cooks, (I am missing her dishes so so much😢) cleans, does the laundry, buys food, goes to market... Don't be mistaken by the things she does for us. No, we are not making her do all these things but she wanted to do them all for us. Yes, although a plain housewife, my mom untiringly does everything for our family. It is her love for our family that overpowers her tiresomeness.

I had witnessed how she does everything just to provide us what we need. I remember one event that happened when I was still a child. In that time she cried, I also cried. From then on I said to myself that I won't let anybody or anything make my mamang upset!

Our family is not well off and my mom has to struggle a lot. With a little budget in her pocket she can do miracles. I know and I can feel how difficult it is for her when she sees that we don't have anything good to eat on the table (those were the days). She will find a way because as a mother she won't let her family down.

I love my mom for she is a true queen. A queen that never gets tired of us. A queen that serves us until now even if we are already adults. I have promised myself to give her whatever she needs and that she will never have to struggle again. Of course, I am still trying my best to be able to do that.

I love my mom so much. She cried a lot, felt her sadness during that time when I was in a bad relationship. She was quiet and not forcing me to stop but she was secretly hurting through my situation. But when I finally freed myself from that abusive relationship, she was the first one who was happy for me.

On this Mother's day, I am grateful and proud to let everybody meet my mamang. The person I owe my life from. The one who was and will be forever at my side, the true queen, my Mamang.
