Take time to smell the flowers!
I've been thinking a lot lately
I've been thinking about what I do daily
I've been thinking about the mountains I move
To try get into the good books and be approved
I've finally come to a conclusion
I'm putting a stop to that delusion
No matter how hard I try
No matter how hard I work
People will always lie
And leave me hurt
I've worked for hours just to get burnt
I've given them everything I had
But they've used me and
Ended up treating me like dirt
So I'm gonna stop trying
Because the hard truth is:
Inside I'm dying.
To all those that try their bests
To start a relationship that doesn't work
Continue trying but know when to draw the line
Before you get hurt
