Incapable

Incapable of love
Incapable of life
Incapable of words
I'm broken into irrational surds

Incapable of feeling
Incapable of being
I'm just a useless ball of needing
I'm the thorn picked while weeding

Incapable of thought
Incapable of emotion
Life is just one big wave-like motion
Continuing until we drink Death's potion

Incapable of silence
Incapable of obedience
My voice will be heard
Even if it's devious

Incapable of comprehension
Incapable of compassion
Played to many times
Taken for a fool my whole life

Still capable of perception
That there is no perfection
That life is just a misconception
Of our inner desires for a direction

Still capable of seeing
Every human still breathing
Every person inside is bleeding
All 'cause they don't get what they're needing

Hey I love how you tie the things you can't do to what you can do and how the conclusions from the beginning could be derived from what you can do and in turn create the incapacities themselves.

Also, what is surds? Is that another slang word :) ?

We all hit rock bottom like your poem said but once we hit the bottom, we realize that we are still breathing, thinking and feeling. The only way is to go up. Enjoyed your poignant poem. Be well Ethan! :D

Nice poem @xxsenpaixsamaxx . We are incapable of a lot of things but still we'll make capable things for living. Finding satisfaction can cause a lot of failure, it can even give you injuries and leave you bleeding but you're still breathing so you need to keep on living. I love the poem and enjoyed it!
