Hii! I'm Sascha
Hii everyone!
My friend, @bellatravelph introduced me to Steemit yesterday and I am so happy she did!
Let me introduce myself. I am Sascha, when I was 18 years old I decided to fulfill my dream.. I left my country, the Netherlands, to travel! Now I am 19 years old and I fell in love with the Phillipines! The people are so kind and the places are so beautiful... Volcano's, waterfall, the most beautiful beaches! I can recommend everyone to visit the Phillipines!

Belated greetings, but first I saw "Dutchie," then I noticed your "Malapascua" post, and I figured I should respond.
(My parents are Dutch, but I was born in Canada.)
About 5 years ago, I had planned on going to Bantayan island, and I also found Malapascua on the map, so I considered going there. But then a typhoon devastated much of Leyte and most of Bantayan and probably much of Malapascua, so I went to Moalboal, Cebu, instead.
It was great. How's Malapascua?
I'll be following you, so I hope to read some fine, high-quality posts.

Ohh god damn Malapascua post.. My friends have a bad influence in me but I kind of like that picture a lot.
Malapascua is a beautiful island, with beautiful beaches, but I guess it is better to go there in the low season. When we went to the beach there, it was almost empty but if I notice the plenty of diveshops, I expect it a little bit more crowded in the high season. It is a paradise for diving too! You can see different types of sharks, especially the treshershark is a highlight.
You are blessed to be born in Canada! Canadians are so kind and it is not for nothing a lot of Dutchies move to Canada!
Now you are living in Thailand I see? Not to far from the Philippines! If you will book a flight to the Philippines, you will not regret it when you see the beautiful beaches here!

Here a few tips for starters snce you probably won't get any advice from those who comment under here, here's what I gathered thus far.
It's tough to make money at first so if that's your main cause to be on here grind that into your head straight away, that doesn't mean you shouldn't post content, you should, but enganging with others in the comment sections to grow your following is your best bet. Which categories?
Probably the introduce yourself one and the photography section but you can choose things that you have knowledge about too and then go from there just know that there is a lot of crap on here so plowing through that just to connect with others can be tough. Cheers.

Welcome Sascha! Good on you for being so brave and conquoring the world all on your own.. I did the same when I was 17 - quit school and traveled around Europe for a few years. :-)
I can definitely recommend the Balkan mountains (especially in Romania) and Cyprus!!

Thank you! 17 is so young! But Europe is also so beautiful! I hope I can go to the balkan country's some day like you did. I believe it is beautiful and still so different from my country! When my dad was a militair, he workes there for a few years and the pictures he showed me are so beautiful!
I will think about you when I see the sun ☀ but for now, its raining already the whole week here...
