Name Top 3 All Time Favorite Movies - May 30 Days Writing Challenge by @dragosroua

in #steemit6 years ago (edited)

This is my sixteenth post in this challenge. My previous entry to this challenge:
What Other Social Media Platforms Do You Still Use? Why? - May 30 Days Writing Challenge by @dragosroua.

My movies watching habits are basically the same (very similar) to @dragosroua's.
I am watching a lot of movies. Or, to be more precise, I watched a lot of movies.
Nowadays I am not waching a lot of them, but I am still waching movies. Nowadays I rather watch TV/movie series than movies.

Picking all time favorites is hard/difficult, especially if I have to pick the top 3 all time favorites.
But let's see. The following three movies was the first movies that I (me and my family) watched in a cinema! Because of this, these movies are special to me.
I don't know which one was the first that we watched in a cinema, so the order is random.

  • 1. War of the Worlds (2005)
  • 2. The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005)
  • 3. Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over (2003)

A few sentences about these movies.
Narnia is probably my personal favorite from the above, because of the fantasy world and the creatures, but I can't really choose one. Especially not a first one in the list of my all time favorites.
I like many movies and I am still young. I mean I will be 26 years old this year on September 17 and there will be many more movies to watch over time.
The sounds effects and the actor's play in the the War of the Worlds are very good.
We used 3D glasses to watch Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over, so we really watched the 3D version.
All of these movies are very good, but because they were the first movies that we watched in a cinema, these movies are eternal memories for us and this is why I choosed these movies as top 3 all time favorites.

Thank you for taking the time to read my post and thank you to all of you for your continuous support!

See you later!

War of the Worlds was pretty intense, and probably one of Tom Cruise's better Sci-Fi action movies. I wasn't around when the original radio program was broadcast, but that one apparently had people believing in alien invasion. Now, I don't know if we'd believe our eyes or not.

The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe is a classic movie. Very well done with a very good story and message.

I've seen one of the Spy Kids movies, but I think it was the first one. I don't remember too much about that one other than it was fairly geared to kids.
