[Multiple choice poll] Love (between man and woman) is (by your own experience)...
Someone once said "Love is giving someone the power to destroy you, and trusting them not to". I agree with him/her. I once truly, very deeply loved a woman in middle school, I would have done anything for her, but she could not have decide whether she affirm our relationship in public or not, and from one day to another she visibly cheated on me. She kissed a classmate in front of me, but she did not even kissed me. Not even once. She liked me, and she knew that I truly, very deeply love her, furthermore, she was the one, who initiated this whole thing. She came to me after a day, and asked me if I like anyone in the class. I openly/honestly admitted that I like her. I escorted her to the bus stop from the school for months, but she still done this. She either did not loved me enough, or she was just felt embarrased in public by being together with me. Or rather the first, because if you truly love someone, you don't care what others think about it. Or she just wanted to test me. If the latter, then I obviously failed the test. Maybe intentionally. I heard that she expected (probably) me to come to her at the party after the end of the school (I heard something with a half ear), but I did not come to her. I thought I had enough. I was very upset at her behavior and attitude. Maybe I done this right. Maybe we would have married, but divorced later. I do not know. By the way, she dropped that buy at the end of the school (in 2012), and she has been with another guy since then. This was between 2007 and 2012, but I still think about her! I cannot stop thinking about her! I think about her as this whole thing would have happened yesterday, but it was 12 years ago! Probably I will think about her for the rest of my earthly life. So, loving that woman was a HUGE MISTAKE, but unfortunately love is coming from instinct or something like that. The main point is the fact that you cannot control it. You cannot control who you love and for how long. You just meet and love. At least this was/is my case. I met her and I fallen in love with her. And still love her to this day. But I have not met her since 2012, and I doubt that I will ever met her in this earthly life again. I would like to be with her, but I know that I could not. This feeling is very PAINFUL.
But there HAS to be some REASON for my deep love towards her, as well as for the chain of events, which happened in my earthly life.
I know that there is an afterlife, but many people do not believe in that. I think (or at least hope) that I will get the answers to these questions.

Whats with your homophobic question? Rather its "between a man and woman" and or a man and a man or a woman and a woman, it would still be equatable. I guess a "Vagary of perception" is an issue....
Do not be offended. There is nothing homophobic about this question. And there is nothing wrong with being gay or lesbian either. I took the man and woman example, because I am straight, and that is the classic family model, and I am interested in experiences based on that. And no children will be born with man and man, neither with woman and a woman. And the nature of the two genders are generally very different. Because of these things, love is totally/entirely different in your examples (man and a man, woman and a woman), so I think that it should be asked in another poll. I do not have problems with gay/lesbian people. What more, maybe it would have been better if I would have been a gay person back in 2007. At least I would probably not have gone through that misery with that woman in middle school (see the description in this post, if you have not read it so far).
Dont say homophobic things if you dont want to be called out. Love is NOT different for a man and man or a woman and a woman. You saying that is literally homophobic. But, "Dont get offended" for being called out...
