Promotion of steemgigs

Introduction

My name is balogun edafe and I have been on the steemgigs platform for a while and I have benefitted from it so far. So after seeing the importance of the platform I then decided to promote steemgigs, of which Africa has been my major focus so far.

Generally steemgigs is a platform that helps bring demand and supply together, it acts as the middle man that helps allocate the supplier of a right service to the perfect consumers, and it Is also a great commumity

Audience

The target audience in this outreach was the entire continent of Africa,and also there was no age barrier,as everyone in every age has a service that is wanted. So age targeted in this outreach was ages 16 and above while interets included were music, entertainment sports and fashion. The estimated population rounded up to 130 million people

Activity

Firstly a page was created on facebool which was dedicated solemnly to promote open source projects. Then a post was published to explain the concepts of steemgigs and its basic functions And benefits involved with the platform. After publishing the post, it was then promoted to the stated audience listed above with the use of Facebook advertising mechanism which involved paying certain sum of money.

Result

In about 4 hours after promoting the post, it had a reach of 5854 people, with 36 post click links and 26 link clicks and also got 109 reactions

Further breaking the results, in terms of gender reached, women were 35.9%, while men reached were, 64.1%

In terms of demographic reach, Algeria was 39%, while Libya was second in 13.7%, Tunisia was third in 8.6%. The remaining details are in the statistics below
