Halter Top Originally Design By Me - Alodia's Crochet Corner

Hello everyone! Another day to share my work to all of you.
I made a halter top yesterday because my friend challenge me and I was also bored here in our house, making the same design. And I think, to make my day more exciting I scan on youtube what to do.

I already got what I want, but I never tried to follow the design of what's on tutorial. I make my own, I just did is to have an inspiration. ;)

So the challenged yesterday was this:

If I will able to finish a halter in a day, using a thread that she is also using, she will bought me a large fries!"

Haha! A very crazy challenge, but because I love fries, I make a halter top, and luckily finish it on time hehe.

This was the halter top I had finished yesterday! I was so happy that I make this top. My friend and I made yesterday.
We are going to make atleast 50 pieces of halter, crop tops and sell it on the "SARBAY" here in Gensan City.
So we have still 2 months to prepare and I think it's enough to make many crop tops to sell.

SARBAY it is Saranggani Bay Festival, an annual event in Saranggani Province and it helds every 3rd week of May.
There are a lot of events happening in 'sarbay', like pageants and as you can see on the photo racing boat and many more.
I was not able to attend a "Sarbay Festival" yet. But this time I will, because I am going to sell crop tops there!! Yahoo!

By the way I would like to share my experience using this thread.
This is the Monaco thread. This yarn is so thin, and many crocheter here in Philippines used this type of yarn. Aside from this yarn is a cotton type, if you will see the details are very clear. You can clearly recognized the design.

At first I personally, don't like this thread because it makes my fingers aching. It's like the thread are sharp that when it passes my fingers, I felt the ache.

But I tried my best to used this, and I was so happy and satisfied. I am starting to like it already! Hehe!
What I made is that, I used double strands of this thread and used 2.5mm crochet hook.

Ahhhhh!! I hope you like my shared post for today, because I really love this top.
