Swapmeet Finds #2694

First of all this morning, just a heads-up. Thought I should let you know that we ARE nearing the end of Ray and Jeanette photos. But JUST the older black and white ones. I still have a HUGE pile of their color photos from the 1950s, '60s and '70s to scan. But that may take me a while. So in the mean time, we may take a brief intermission from Ray and Jeanette World and check out a few other things. But that's still a few days down the road.

Anyway, in this last small batch of monochrome pics, I did manage to find a few that tied up some loose ends. For instance, this one labeled: "Ray & Jeanette Laney. Bobbie & Clarence Paul", circa 1946-ish. For those of you who have been following along, I'm sure you remember distinctly back in post #2588 where I guessed that the big mug on the right was one of Ray's brothers. Close, but no cigar. Brother-in-LAW (I think), married to Jeanette's sister Bobbie.

And my goodness! The photographer even managed to coax a smile out of Ray (along with everyone else)! I think that's the first time we've ever seen one! :-)
