SFS Contest Week 5 | Shocking Moments

At different times in our lives, we must have experienced shocking moments and this is not a respecter of personality. It could be in our infant stage, teenage, or adult stage as the case may be. However, this is my first shocking story in life.

Growing up, we all lived in the northern part of the country but this was short-lived because of this incident. We were all born in this region which makes it relatively a home and safe place since we already know the terrain and the workability of this environment.

On this faithful day, we went to school, though still in the nursery session and mom happens to also be a teacher in the school, kids always know how to play so rough. Though I'm not the rough type anyway, before someone else says otherwise we cannot recount what all happens at that stage.

My classmate was sneaking under the desk or at his play time crawling under people's desks and tingling them with a broomstick which was meant to scare them at first before every boasts into laughter, which was all an intentional act.

When he came under my desk unknowingly to me and unaware he had been doing that to others, I almost jumped up from my seat and in doing that, I dashed my leg on his eyes which became another issue immediately.

It was shocking to me that little leg movement had this classmate half blind. He screamed and the closet teacher came and inquired about what happened before he was rushed to the hospital. Just like a joke, this little boy of my age was bandaged in one of the eyes.

Though I inquired that the eyes were salvaged and resuscitated. He's good now though cannot say if there are any post-eye effects with him. It was indeed a shocking one to know that one little and tender leg movement could cause big damage.

Getting home that day was a little kind to me relative. to my parent's discipline given my mom was a teacher and had been briefed on what happened already.

I would say funnily, but That may be the truth. When I came the next day to school, I was faced with another shocking experience. I went towards the window side and this window does not have a protector to it. As I stretched to look through the window, someone pushed up my legs and I fell out of the window.

Since it was just a bungalow kind of class, the window wasn't far from the ground, I managed to land with my hand in defense other than my head. It was shocking as it all looked like a play but an expensive one.

We all survived these moments as kids and could tell the stories. I am invinting @chilaw, @ninapenda to participate.
