STEEMCHURCH:THE DIVINE MOMENT
There are times when God works with us in a curious way. At the moment that God is going to introduce the people of Israel to a new land, he said he would be with them as he was with Moses, but that does not mean that things would not be the same. The important thing is that in all the changes they would face, God would be with them.
Those who would cross the Jordan River were not the same ones who saw the miracle of the Red Sea open. This was another generation, but they had heard the stories of how God had made them pass in their tracks, so they knew that, on this occasion, the instruction was different. This new instruction required that there be people who dared to take the risk of entering into what seemed to be the most inopportune moment. It was the time of the harvest, time when the river overflowed.
It is not until you take the first steps of faith, that things will begin to change. There are those who postpone plans, goals, projects, waiting for circumstances to change. Ecclesiastes says that he who tries to sow while looking at time, pending the seasons, then, will never do it. Every time you look at the seasons of the world, what the world is going through, faith in your life stops.
When we speak of courage, we refer to when the will of man is firmly established, despite the fear he has. Courage is not the absence of fear. Courage is to keep doing, even with fear. It is when, in the midst of your difficulties, you take firm determination and order your will to take you to the front, despite what you are feeling. There are those who would like to have courage, but what they expect is that the fear leaves; but the fear does not go away, because the circumstances do not change, but until after you dare to take action.
There must be a moment in your life, in which you understand that God has made you a royal priesthood, and you dare to walk with the ark of the covenant, in an impetuous river, risking your life. But, to seat your feet in that water, there must be a strong will within you, something that tells you that, if God said to stand there, it is because something is going to happen.
If God has told you to stand firm, in the midst of these impetuous times, then do it; Something is going to happen. While others are running, you have to stand firm and let the sole of your feet settle in a safe place, which is your faith that God will give you the victory. God is giving you an order to do something that seems illogical, crazy; but, when you dare to act in that faith, God begins to change all things, the waters of your life are going to stop, what came against you, will stop, and it will break through, where before there was not, and you're going to walk where you've never walked. But the question is, why at the worst moment?
That was the time of the harvest, when the river overflowed, a difficult moment. Why make them cross at that moment? In Joshua 5, he gives us a description of what happened, once they reach the earth. They celebrated the Passover in that place, eating the fruit of the earth and new ears.
"12 And the manna ceased the next day, since they began to eat the fruit of the ground; and the children of Israel had no more manna, but they ate of the fruits of the land of Canaan that year. "Joshua 5:12
God made them cross in the time of the harvest because, as soon as they crossed, there would be no more manna. If they crossed when the river was calm, there would be nothing to eat. If they crossed when it was easy, they would not have anything to hold on to, there would be no provision for them on the other side. God makes them cross in the time of the harvest, not to make them harder, but because the time of the harvest marked that, on the other side, there was provision for them. And the big thing is that, not only was there a provision for one day, but for a whole year. God would no longer give them manna, but he had prepared new ears, figs, grapes.
Make decisions, not in the moments that seem the most opportune, but in the moments that God says that, on the other side, he has new ears prepared for you, he has a provision for your life. This moment may seem crazy, but it is the divine moment, the moment of God. The moment when others have not dared to cross, is the moment that you have dared, and God has for you new ears, provision, increase, has the table prepared in front of you, on the other side.
Walk where others have not dared to walk. Be obedient, in the most illogical moments. Live a life by wetting your feet, doing what others have not done, knowing that, if God asked you to do it, even if it seems the most illogical moment, when you cross, you will realize why he did it.
Blessings,
It is a message that exhorts us to go that extra mile, in the most difficult times is when God shows us his power, in Steemchurch we value his contribution in these words of growth and courage for the church. We must always trust in God, even though with our natural eyes do not see the exit.Thank you for sharing.

excellent message, God never leaves us alone. God is the way, the truth and the life @xiore
Thank you for sharing @xiore, there is always a magical moment where God surprises us, even though human logic does not understand it, in my personal life there have been many times when I have had to obey God in things that seem crazy, when Pedro went fishing he did it in his human nature, because he was a professional fisherman, they knew where the fish were, however, God gave him an order, and he even against his logic said: I have not caught anything in all the night: but in your word I will cast the net.
I don't think I understand this statement very clearly. I thought one has to look and understand the seasons before sowing. Are we then to sow anytime without observation? please clarify
We have to risk If you wait for the perfect conditions. We will never do anything.
The Christian life is a life of faith. God has destined you to believe and perform miracles. The context has to do with the wise use of the opportunities we have in this earthly life (under the sun): One must provide oneself the opportunity to succeed through diligent and wise effort in the use of its resources to achieve profit over time. There are times when God acts in a mysterious way, he reads what the Apostle wrote @darlenys01.
Thanks for the explanation.
It's been said that time and chance happens to everything all. We can only get delayed but never denied. When the devine moment comes, there will no stopping it. We will all get our chance.
This post tells us we must be ready when God calls even in difficult time, we must obey and always depend on God for everything In difficult time.. Great post
Everything that has a set time programmed by God will happen no matter what. You can change what the lord has commanded
Wow great post
God is always faithful, but he is rarely early! If we trust in him, he will provide. However it may seem we are at the end of our rope first.
Good post! Thanks for sharing
