STEEMCHURCH: The prodigal son
Blessed day my beloved family of @steemchurch studying the bible we read about the prodigal son, a story that I love, says in Luke 15: 2 "And when he got up, he came to his father." And when he was still far away, his father saw him, and he was moved to mercy, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him."
You will never receive the lost with love until you understand that you were lost one day, and when you returned home, the arms of a father received you with love and mercy. When we read this story we realize the great value we have before God. No matter what we do or do not do, our value before God will never change.
If we tried to fit this story into today's world we would realize that many of us fulfilled the role of the lost son. How many of us rebel or live our whole lives turning our backs on God. How many of us did not want to know about God or his love for living slaves to the pleasures of this world. Maybe you are of some children who returned to the father's house again, but you forgot that there are many who have not yet decided to return home, because they still believe that living far from the father's house is better than living inside of it.
Many of them today are naked, hungry, lonely, empty, helpless, sad, full of pain, because they decided to take their own path, without knowing that there is a father who suffers every day looking towards the horizon waiting for one of his children decide to return again. Many of them feel ashamed for everything they have done, feel guilty and do not have the courage to go home.
This explains why many of them say: I am very sinful, I love women and parties, I can not stop drinking, because in a fallen world like the one we live in, man has taught us to be cold and without love, and they believe that God has the same heart as men. Many of them have already spent everything, and are eating of the food of the pigs, thinking again and again, in the house of my father there is abundance of bread, but I do not have the courage to return. They spent everything in this context means: they have already tried everything, they did everything within their reach to do in the field of sin.
That is why man never comes to understand what he lost until one day this falls short of Luke 15:14. Many of them one day served God, and when they see a believer it is better to take another path because they feel accused and ashamed because one day they spoke of God's love and nowadays they do not have the authority to do so because of the condition which they are. The church is so deep in religiosity that already the lost are afraid to go to them because they feel that they will be judged and mistreated, instead of being accepted and loved. There is a competition to be the holiest, who judge each other to be more spiritual than others, without knowing that God knows the heart of each person, and behind the competition hides jealousy and envy.
The love of a Father and a Mother towards a child is the greatest that can exist. Even when the son rebelled against his father and badly spent his inheritance, his father still loved him with the same intensity, his love for his son never waned because the love of a father is unconditional, infinite and supernatural. How many of us believe that God has failed him, and he does not love us, that he sees us with disgust and contempt, and feeling this instead of seeking God, what we do is that we move further away from him. Genesis 3: 9- 10.
The youngest son was determined to go away to spend all his inheritance, but the father never stopped him, because if something God does with us is that it never goes beyond the line of our will, God loves us with all our hearts, but he never It forces to be with him. Many of us are in church, God blesses us, fills us with wisdom, develops our gifts and talents, gives us a good job, a good couple, a beautiful family, and after God gives us everything, we decided to turn away from him . You know why? For the lack of gratitude. We believe that everything we have achieved is the product of our own capacity and ingratitude is born there. That's why the prodigal son left his house, because he thought he would find a better life away from his father, without knowing that in his father's house he had unlimited resources, and that he lost everything because he disconnected from the source.
The lost son had to make a decision: to die in the place where he was, or to break his pride, to humble himself and to return home. The Bible teaches that even when he was far away, his father saw him, and was moved to mercy, and ran and made himself on his neck and kissed him Luke 15:20. Letting us know that his father woke up each morning to see the horizon with the hope that his son would one day return home. It must have been a long time for a father to take a son for dead, but a father's love is so strong that even saying that he had died, his heart did not rest at night or day waiting for the dream of being able to see your son go home again (God wants to see you at home again) Luke 15:24.
Sometimes we think that God will punish us and scold us for all the evil we have done, without knowing that the only thing God wants is to hug us and kiss us, tell us how much he misses us and how much he loves us. God does not want to know how many whores you slept with, how many bottles of alcohol you took, how many doses of drugs you used, he just wants to see you at home again. He does not want you to scold you, he just wants you to celebrate the arrival of his lost son, he has prepared the fattest pig, the best dress, the party is ready for the day you decide to return home, he will take you away that clothing of sin and filth to put on a dress of King, returns home lost son, returns to his presence again.
Humans are prodigal sons of God. We have to imitate God, the way he accepted humans and even after sinning against him. Thanks for sharing the story of the prodigal son.

So is, thanks for reading me my brothers.
There are so many lessons to learn from the story of the prodical son. I, particularly learn from the father to be forgiving. Some parents would say, I have already given him his share of the rewards and wouldn't accept him after returning. But we all should learn from his father to also be patient with children. Thanks for sharing this.
You're welcome, it's a very interesting story, we should appreciate those lessons.
It happened to me too. I drove my son away. He returned in 3 days. You can not describe the joy to anyone.
Totally. Blessings.
The prodigal son's story has alot of pointers! Off course God is always wanting us to come back to him. He doesn't count our sins instead he yearns for us to change and acknowledge him. We have to also know that the Bible says a man reap what he sows! Keep that in mind also!

Yes, that must be kept in mind.
Thank you @xioran for sharing. One lesson from the prodigal son is that God never abandon us, rather we are the one's who stray away from him. Another lesson is that no matter what our past has been, God is always ready to accept us back. All we have to do is to acknowledge that we have sinned against our creator.
You're right, thanks to you for reading me...
We all fall short of the glory of God. We all sin and commit atrocities in the sight of God but he always welcomes us back when we want to repent. God always looks at our hearts when we ask for forgiveness. His love is so great that he would never despise a contrite heart. He shows us love every second of the day, with the very air we breathe. A lot of people sin and feel that their sin is too big for God to forgive them. GOD IS NOT ANGRY WITH YOU. As long as you resolve by his hep to desist from sin, he is ever willing to take us back. His love is greater than the love of our very parents.
There is no greater love than that of GOD. Blessings.
The story of the prodigal son can also be looked at from the angle of humans and God. Many of us have committed sin and fallen Short of the glory of God but he still open ls his arms and welcomes us into his presence. He is just like the father of the prodigal son, he is loves and forgives.
Thank you @xioran for this. It's nice to read from you again today.
Thank you. Blessings.
The Story of the prodigal child demonstrates a parent unconditional love despite our unfaithfulness.
God is the greatest parental love despite our unfaithfulness, He continues to bless us and wants us to get closer to Him.
Do not be afraid, God understand we are imperfect and bound to make mistakes.
So is...
Being lost is not the problem, but finding your way is the most important thing ,finding your way to God!
Always.
Realising in life that we all are prodigal children of our Lord. We have all, ay some point in our lives regarded and valued worldly things above God and it has cost us our relationship with him. But our ability to run back to him and be truly sorry and contrite os what has earned us our place as children of the Most High
We must not turn away from him although he is always willing to forgive us.
