Hello my dear Steemians, a special greeting to my siblings @steemchurch and @communitynews today at #celestialchallenge by @sirknight is Tuesday of #AnimalKingdom and I bring you a beautiful and special animal, the red macaw.

It is one of the most colorful birds on earth and therefore are very sought after and loved. Unfortunately they are hunted to be held in captivity and commercialized. These beautiful birds that for many ages danced freely, nowadays they can hardly be seen, since they are in danger of extinction. It belongs to the family of parrots psittacidae, its origin is since the beginning of time in the late Eocene, a species with a lot of antiquity. The Mayans related these birds to the sun, because they are so dazzling that they were compared with this beautiful natural spectacle.

They have a plumage of bright red, yellow and blue, can present the green color in smaller proportion. It has a yellow color around the eyes and you can see splashes of white feathers on your face.

Its bill is strong and large, the lower extremities have a dark tone that can become black. It has certain characteristics in the legs, as they have two fingers back and two forward, which makes the bird can use their fingers as if they were hands. They usually live 70 years. They appeared in the jungles of America and Meridional.

Generally they live in herds in the tropical jungles, in the savannahs of humid climate very near the rivers, before they happened to be of hundreds of birds flying everywhere, at present only they are seen by dozens only when looking for their food. They are very remarkable because their only means of communication are loud and sharp shouting. They use this medium to send their signals and when the flight begins.

The size of the macaws is about 80 to 90 centimeters in length, they are not very large but their size is perfect for the fauna and to observe their beauty. Its size is proportional, because its tail is the longest and the one that gives more life to this bird, because it gives elegance and is the most striking, it is there where the feathers of other colors before mentioned, because it occupies a third of the size of the bird.

The male has a slightly longer tail, and this is how it can be distinguished from the female, although it is not very visible, if you have direct contact with the bird you will be able to observe and differentiate by sex from one another.
The macaws are characterized by being faithful, and once they manage to conquer their partner they do not separate, because if they are far away they can find themselves even though they are on opposite sides.

They are characterized by being romantic at the time of mating, they get along very well and if they could express themselves as humans their feelings, they were undoubtedly poets and very popular of love.

They belong to the oviparous and monogamous species. It can reach sexual maturity between three and four years of age. It has an enormous ability to build its nest at high altitudes, it does so in hollow areas of leafy trees to hide from predators.

These birds feed on different fruits and seeds also enjoy feeding their young when they are in incubation, they are very good parents and excellent lifelong partners, they are really fabulous birds because they have unique characteristics and incomparable to other common birds or of different species.

They have a host of features that are very important in the life of nature, have incredible capabilities and qualities and one of them is the intelligence and effectiveness of each of them. They have the ability to pronounce different words imitating humans, this is due to an evolution in their brain on the right side.

These birds can not be alone, they would suffer from depression and sadness which would cause them to death.

The macaws are amazing, they act like humans although they are not, let alone have characteristics as you could say about monkeys, but these birds have feelings and in some other things they are so similar.

The reproduction of these birds is very important because although the mating is the most impressive of them, it is not like any other bird or in a usual way, on the contrary, for the male to court the female needs time, it is not so easy, he has to prove to the female that he will give him confidence and will be his partner for the whole life that they are together, when they are among the group and they have not yet been paired, the male must wait for the female be decided.

For the mating if at the time of choosing each other was romantic, this moment is undoubtedly unique, since the macaw begins to dance around the female, turns and passes her small wings through her body, the pupils they dilate them and romance begins.

After a dance dance and conquest, the male joins his cloaca together with that of the female and the mating arrives, it is a very beautiful and unique process in these species.
Intelligent, charismatic, romantic, faithful, and good companions, it is certainly a bird that is worth caring for and preserving. Humans have much to learn from these spectacular species created by our GOD.
