Soldier's job

Did you see the photo of a place I have never been?
There are cams and microphones.
They are watching you, calling for you with technology.
Is Bill Gates right, is God not more than a prehistorian figure and is Jesus dead indeed?
Can't Allah watch over the people instead of high tech?
I hesitate, hide in the shade.
Should I step outside into the light?
I watch them for a while before I decide to turn around. This is not the place to be, not meant for me.
No one will welcome a soldier, the person I became by training, greed and envy.
Today all I can give, to those still alive, is the warmth, brightness of the sunlight till the moment my job is done.
