In the year 2700 BC - The Chineses Emperor Shen Nung had claimed to discover the healing properties of the cannabis plant

The story goes that Emeperor Shen Nung had discovered the healing properties of cannabis as well as ginseng, and ephedra.

This guy was not just the average person he was actually considered the father of Chinese medicine.

This information was found in MArijuana as Medicine: Beyond the Controversy, 2001 by Janet Joy, PHD , and Alison Mack.
