The night is dark and full of terrors...
Its a total blood bath out there in crypto market, the overall market cap is reaching 300 Billion Dollars after crossing 1 Trillion Dollars 2 months ago.
Steem has lost more than 78 % of its price since the start of this year...
From past week I am observing an overall reduced activity on Steemit which is explainable considering the price of steem( currently $1.79 as per coin market cap).
So yeah we have taken a hit!!! Recent correction has bleed us pretty hard but I still believe in steemit and the blockchain technology it is built upon. Because I believe
“Why do we fall? So we can learn to pick ourselves up.”
Being an optimist I personally think it's a good time to invest in steem and power up while it is still below 2 $...Massive corrections like this have happened before and will happen again. Once we are done with this correction, steem will jump back to 10$ before we know it...

Investing in steem at a price of 2.00$ is a great idea. At one side it will strengthen the currency on the other side it will remove FUD from steemians. Nice idea. All the best to Steem leap and bound growth
Yeah we took some deep dive downs lately a lot of investors are pissed, people backing out thanks to the reduction rates and the get rich quick hackers who won

I absolutely agree with you! This is a great time to invest both money (for those who have it), as well as time. Since less people are posting these days, there are more rewards for those who don't loose faith in Steem while the price is down :)
