ONLY 5 TEAMS FROM AFRICA WILL REPRESENT THE CONTINENT IN THE 22ND EDITION OF THE FIFA WORLD CUP

The most prestigious football competition in the world. The Fifa World Cup played every 4 years with 32 teams will this time be host in Qatar the tournament is scheduled to run from date 21st of November to 18th of December.

Africa is not left out of the competition but only 5 teams from a Continent of 54 countries will participate.

In the second leg of world cup qualifies 40 teams from Africa were sheared in 10 groups and now only the 10 best teams have been sellwcted and paired in two's to play each other in a home and away game to see who will qualify straight to Qatar to represent the continent .

The Africa fanalist Egypt and Senegal will face each other again in the final phase of the world cup qualifies. The first game will be played in Egypt 🇪🇬 in the Cairo international stadium on date 23 of march and the return leg will take place in leopold Sengho stadium in Senagal.

Egypt is the first ever African country to play the world cup in 1934 and the have qualified for this compensation 3 times in 1934,1990 and 2018.
While Senegal have qualified for this competition only 2 times in 2002 and 2018.
Senegal is the first team in the history of world cup to be eliminated using the fair play role after a tie with Japan.

Cameroon 🇨🇲 will welcome the former African Champions Algeria 🇩🇿 in Douala Japoma stadium on date 23rd of march to battle for a ticket to Qatar and the return leg 6 days later in Stade Mustapha Tchaker in Algeria 🇩🇿.
Cameroon is use to playing this competition and they have qualified 7 time more than any other African country . Cameroon is the first Africa team to ever reach the quater finals of this competition. Their first appearance was 1982 and last appearance in 2014.

Mali 🇲🇱 will Welcome the Northern African team Tunisia 🇹🇳 on date 23 of march . The match will take place in Stade du 26 mars one of the beautiful football pitches in mali🇲🇱. And the return leg will take place in stade olympiaque de Rades 6 days later.
Mali have never qualified for world cup they are seeking to pick their first ever qualification ticket.

The Democratic Republic of Congo 🇨🇩 will welcome another North African Team Morocco 🇲🇦 to batle for the ticket to Qatar 🇶🇦.
