Speedboat or Sailboat?

Pretty much anyone NOT prone to getting seasick will tell you that being out on the water in any vessel is some of the best part of living. But what if you’ve just come into some money and have never been anything but a landlubber? What do you buy? Speedboats offer you the heart pounding thrills of gliding along the top of the water, with the wind in your face and maybe a water skier being pulled along behind you. On the other hand, a sailboat has a higher learning curve to get it going but can be both rewarding and exciting, as you bend the wind to your will, using nothing but rope, canvas and your own brute strength. One may never run out of gas, but the other will never be stranded on a windless afternoon.

Speedboats can come off like overcompensating sports cars, but sailboats have the unappealing effect of elitism similar to a Tesla owner, smelling their own farts.

So which is better? What’s cooler? And what should I buy with all my STEEM?
