Wildlife THE MIGHTY BUFFALO
A Buffalo is a Hugh animal with horns . A adult buffalo can weigh in access of around 600kg and can lift around 250-300kg . They mostly eat leaves and grass. Being from the bovine family, we get the Asia water buffalo and the Africa buffalo.
The Asian water buffalo live most of there life in water .We would think because of there weight they might sink ,however , the Almighty has thought about everything ,they have extra large hooves that are wide enough to avoid sinking. These buffalo are trained by the locals to help them transport goods all around and to cultivate the lands.
The African buffalo are more family orientated. They live in herds (group) and will look after the young .The males will live with the birth herd for 3 years and then migrate to a full male herd . These are the old guys and will not be able to reproduce. Buffalo's are found to even kill lions if attacked.
