Indo chinese chicken
Today I offered to help make dinner for my family and I. My wife usually makes an indo chinese chicken that we eat with rice. It is one of my favorite meals. The family and I go crazy for this meal so I decided to attempt making it for dinner. I don't know yet if it will be as good as when my wife makes it, I guess I will have to wait and see tonight when we have dinner. I will be sharing the recipe below. It is not very difficult to make and it is really delicious.
Ingredients:
Chicken
Carrots
Green peppers
Green chilies
Oil
Paprika
Turmeric
Salt
Cumin
Grounded cumin
Brown sugar
Honey
Brown vinegar
Method:
In a pot, braise the onion (diced) in some oil, then add the carrots and green peppers, both chopped into strips. Add a green chili. Let it braise for a bit. Thereafter add the chicken, which should be cut into strips as well with some water and all the spices. Once the chicken, carrot and peppers are cooked, add the honey and vinegar. The brown sugar is optional if you want it to be sweeter.
I enjoy it best on top of cooked rice.
